One of the highlights of our year has been Adele & Tom’s Japanese inspired wedding in a rustic countryside barn, it was a corker of a wedding and one we will remember for many years to come (we are pretty sure they will to!).
For us the stand out decorations of all the weddings we have been to, whether that’s in London, the rest of the U.K, or even abroad has to be Adele and Tom’s paper crane extravaganza. The entire venue, a beautiful rustic barn by way, was laced from head to toe in over 9000 paper cranes consisting of a range of different colours and sizes. It was a joy to photograph. While the cranes looked stunning it also had a much more thoughtful message behind them, with it being a Japanese inspired wedding it had a strong relation to the tradition of handing down paper cranes through the family. Tom and Adele were keen to emphasise that the 9000 paper cranes, all created by family, friends and the postman, would be passed down as a symbol throughout their family. We thought that was just an awesome touch.
Adele & Tom’s wedding was amazing throughout, the fun and enjoyment that everyone had meant that we are able to take some great, natural, candid shots without taking away the emphasis of their day.
Thanks for inviting us a long to your wedding, it was awesome.
